About

I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist offering psychological therapy to adults (18+) on a short- to long-term basis. I am also Clinical Director of the London City Therapy Clinic.

Everybody comes to therapy with their own unique reasons. This can be due to specific psychological difficulties, such as depression or anxiety, difficult early life experiences, traumatic events, high stress levels, or a general sense of feeling unfulfilled. I believe every person has a unique story, and psychological therapy should be adjusted appropriately as there is no “one-size-fits-all” in understanding our mental world.

My main approaches used are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and we can discuss which model would suit you best in an initial consultation. CBT is a useful framework for providing shorter-term evidence-based skills and techniques that you can integrate into your day-to-day life, whereas Psychodynamic Psychotherapy tends to be longer-term with the aim of fostering deeper understanding of yourself.

I have experience working across various NHS and private practice settings, however I have a particular interest in relational difficulties (friends, family, partners, colleagues, etc). I work in a way that allows you to speak freely about your difficulties in a confidential, caring, and non-judgemental space.

Currently most consultations and therapy sessions are being conducted remotely via Skype, Zoom, MS Teams, or over the phone. However, I do have some availability for face-to-face appointments from my office in London Bridge.
